A Wedding at Homewood in Asheville, NC
We were thrilled when the former Editor-in-Chief of Carolina Bride Magazine chose us to provide the entertainment for her wedding at Homewood in Asheville. Cristina was holding her intimate dinner reception at one of Asheville’s charming historic venues near UNC Asheville. She was looking for a nice variety of music at a reasonable volume so that her guests could mingle over dinner with some dancing later in the evening. As editor of Carolina Bride, Cristina was a core member of the wedding and event planning community in Charlotte and throughout the Carolinas. She had experienced countless weddings through her network of photographers, planners, florists, caterers, and musicians featured in the magazine. Cristina is down-to-earth, kind, and creative. She is also detail-oriented, as so many brides and planners are. We were honored to provide the entertainment for her wedding day.
For her first dance, she chose “First Day of My Life” by Bright Eyes which we learned a few weeks in advance of the big day. She also had a second request by Suzy Bogguss called “Someday Soon” which had special meaning to her and her father. The Mother/Son Dance was “Loves Me Like a Rock” by Paul Simon.
