We have been performing together for a long time. Every event is unique and our goal is to become a part of a fantastic lasting memory for you and your guests. Whether that is for a large business event, wedding rehearsal dinner or low country boil, we try and bring a comfortable, authentically Southern acoustic feel each event. We are prompt, responsive, prepared and always flexible. We want to see everyone having a great time.

Often we asked how we came up with the name, "Melonbelly" and the story is that we named ourselves after shortly after Clifton's daughter was born. We were all sitting around a table trying to come up with a good band name (good original band names are hard to come up with). Baby Isabella had just finished a bottle and was smiling contently with a cute little "melonbelly" popping out over her diaper. She grinned... and we grinned back and thought, "that just feels right!" That was over 20 years ago. We are grateful every day for the opportunity to make a living playing music.
